How Can I View Your Movies Properly. They Won’t Show When I Try to Play Them Directly on Your Website.
Streaming is the method of playing online media directly off of a website by simply left clicking the video link (which launches a media player capable of streaming the respective video format). Please look at the following list so that you can understand which video formats are capable of streaming and which are not:

The Following Video Formats Will NOT Stream:
1) Divx (.avi)
2) Xvid (.avi)
3) Mpeg (.mpeg, .mpg)
4) Ogg Vorbis (.ogg, .ogm)
5) Matroska (.mkv)

The Following Video Formats WILL Stream:
1) Windows Media 9 (.wmv)
2) Real Media 10 (.rm)

The Following Players Support Streaming Video:
1) Windows Media Player 10: Download at Microsoft
2) Real Media Player: Download at Real

For any of the videos that are available in the file types flagged above as unable to stream, you MUST right click the videos and choose "save target as", download them completely to your hardrive and then you can view them.

When streaming video is made available as an alternative to the non streaming video file types above, we will create a new section in our movie area that will clearly indicate the videos it showcases as being "streamable".

We have chosen not to use streaming media initially because there is a deterrent in video quality. Non streamable media is comparable to dvd quality, with little loss in image playback. Streamable media is much faster in terms of accessibility (no need to download the entire video first), but it does suffer from quality loss. Streaming video will be made available as an alternative in due time.

What Are Codecs and Which Ones Should I Use / Where Can I Get Them?
Codecs are filters that need to be installed on your system in order to view specific video file types. They are necessary for video (and sometimes audio) playback. The following are a list of video codecs that you can download directly on our website:

1) Divx Codecs: Win2k/XP - Win95/98/Me - Mac OSX - Mac - used for Divx media
2) Xvid Codec: Download - used for Xvid media
3) Ogg Vorbis Codec: Download - used for Ogg, Ogm media
4) FFDShow Filter: Download - must be installed for most media playback to function properly
5) Matroska Pack: Download - used for playing dual audio matroska (.mkv) files

What Media Players Do You Recommend for Video Playback?
There are many different video players out there to choose from, and depending on the video type you are trying to view, some are better than others. Here is a short list of media players we recommend:

1) Divx Player: (included free with Divx codec) - only plays Divx video
2) BSPlayer: Download - great for Divx, Xvid, Mpeg Video
3) Windows Media Player 10: Download at Microsoft - great for streaming windows media
4) Media Player Classic: Download - great for Divx, Xvid video with AC3 audio

Do You Recommend Any Other Software that We Should Use With Your Website?
Depending on the type of task you are trying to accomplish, here’s a list of other recommended tools we consider important in making your membership experience seamless with us:

1) ACDSee: Download at ACDSystems - excellent for quick browsing of pictures on your harddrive
2) Daemon Tools: Download - for emulating our hentai game disk images as virtual cds
3) Winrar: Download at Rarsoft - perfect for decompressing .rar or .zip files
4) AC3 Filter: Download - necessary for ac3 audio playback

Your Images Won't Load In My Browser. What Do I Need to View Your Images?
Any recent version (anything from the last few years) of IE or Netscape should display everything. For files you download, ACDSee is a recommended image viewer.
How Do I Contact Hentai Source's Webmasters?
You can contact us using our support email. Please only use this email for questions/issues not answered in our FAQ.
I Can't View Your Website Properly. What Browsers Do I Need To View This Website?
Old versions of Netscape have poor CSS support and might not display some elements properly. The site is still usable, but you don't get the full visual effect of the layout. Simply update to Netscape 6 or IE.

Also: the recommended resolution for this site is 1024 x 768, though it works fine in 800 x 600.
